Hai guise Im having trouble with what I think was an update windows installed automatically a few days ago. Not sure what it was but I know after I restarted my computer everything runs HORRIBLY slow, seriously it takes about 5 min + to boot up and all games are completely unplayable now, even on low settings. Anyways my question is how can I check the update list by when it was installed? just so I can be sure its the right one im getting rid of, thanks in advance

There's a box you can tick in the Add/Remove Programs dialogue that will let you remove updates specifically. Unfortunately it's hard to know exactly which is which just from the names of them.

is that the only way? damn I was hoping id be able to sort em by date or something :x

damn none of this is working, I might just have to do a reformat, good thing I have a ton of blank dvd's and not too many things I'd want to save anyways lol

I have not restarted my PC for a few days and the only automatic update it is bugging me about is for 'Windows Genuine Advantage Notification' thing (1.2mb).

If what you need is to find out which update was the last one. Go into your windows dir and find the file "windowsupdate.log". This lists all updates installed with the date and time.
