Dell to use up to 20 million AMD CPUs in 2007.
That is some good news for AMD. That will open up a new market and boost their sales (profit/market share) by quite a bit. People who buy Dell PCs will have a choice.
It's sorta funny that Dell is doing that now, since Core 2 Duo was just released. But I guess they don't care about being 'Intel only' anymore since they are not getting the deep discounts. And Core 2 Duo's volume isn't matching the Pentium 4 yet.
