Just discovered that artifact that was used to bring hell through the teleport. Now the scientist asks me to go bring back the plasma something, the room desanitizes me and i go into that room with that big blue beam at the bottle of the ground and i have no idea what to do now....

You've gone the wrong way, go back to the crossroad area where you met the commandos, and head into the operations area... you'll soon see what you need to do.

Yea if you ever get stuck like that hit your PDA key and look at your objectives...that'll usually help you.

I just want to finish this game up tonight or tomorrow, i think i only have a few hours left. I've lost the hype and havn't "lunged" out of my chair once. Although, this is the best game since Half-Life, well in par with Far Cry too.

actually you're not even halfway through the game.

Really? Wow, I'm pretty near that area and I thought it was near the end too. How the hell can people complain about this game's length? I'm about 10 hours in, if not a bit more and apparently am only halfway through.

Delta labs 2A is quite near the end, actually, about 65%-70% through.

People complain about length because they speed-game their way through the thing in like 5 hours, all in one day.

"Well, that was fast, NEXT"

They miss the true fun of the game...

The journey is more rewarding than the destination.

Exactly, played properly and D3 is just the right length with plenty to see and do and even then probably area's you miss the first time round which makes it worth playing some more.

The game is deffenetly not worth rushing though. Aside from eye candy it mucch more fun to look around because you never know you may find an extra plasma gun ammo (I whanted to say shotgun ammo as a nod to doom 1 but in this game the shotgun is slow, underpowered and sadly out of plase) and all the hard core doomers know just how rewarding that is.

I tried as hard as I could to get every single little health kit or ammo pack, so that helped the game a bit. I liked the secrets too, like the martianbuddy cabinet and id's PDA.

? I used the shotgun as my main weapon, I probably killed about 65-70% of the enemies with it.

The tactic is to just run right unto their face and shoot them with it. Doesn't really work on Mancubus', Archviles (cube 'em) and isn't so great against Revenants, but for everything else it's good (Hell Knight is ok but it takes 8 well-placed shots, otherwise you have to reload).

I only used the BFG about 5 times, and only really used rockets for bosses and on a few revenants and all of the mancubus'.
