.dem ----> .avi

Hi I'm tyring to find out how to convert a .dem to an avi file. I know it's possible I just cna't figure it out. I know a .dem is not a media file, but I hear it's just like a command file that tells it what to play. Like a bunch of TGAs in a slide show or something. Well anyways could someone help me convert it to a more compatible video format? Thanks in advance.

You could always record everything using FRAPS.
