Demo exporting?

I've recorded a few demos in CS:S, and I'm wondering if there's a way to export them to any common video formats. Any help would be appreciated.

run fraps and start css, play ur demos, and record with fraps

I guess that would work, but I was kind of hoping to conserve my already meager framerate.
