So the Democrats just voted down a Republican bill that would have delayed the sale of firearms to anyone on the no fly list for three days and alert the FBI so they have an opportunity to either arrest the terrorist or clear a person wrongfully added to the list and then allow the transaction.

Obviously this is because the goal isn't safety, it's banning guns. See the attached pic, not for THEIR OWN GUNS though, just the people's.

A very quick search didn't yield anything about the vote down being primarily due to democrats on any of the bills and showed a lot of different bills (two of which involved the no fly list waiting period issue, one democrat proposed and one republican proposed) from both parties. I find the 'ho ho congress has armed guards' argument fairly silly, as it only holds up if you subscribe to the ludicrous narrative that the end game here is absolute removal of all peoples' guns. Yeah, congress has security, but guess what that security has? Background checks. Formal training in the use of their weapons. Procedures for use and storage of guns and ammunition. In short, they are controlled.
