I don't think I could play this game as I'd constantly be going "Oh man, this guy would be getting the bends like gangbusters right now!" whereas if the bends was a game mechanic it would suck ass to play as a diver. However, from the videos it looks awesome visually.

I'd probably have a bitchfit playing as a diver. I was terrified even playing as a god damned shark in Jaws Unleashed. That deep sea level where you're at a drilling station in the black abyss of the ocean and fight a giant squid? Yeah, no, shit was scary.
