So, it's been six+ years since I've written a fan fic, so hooray!:bounce:
This is one story that will make up a large collection of stories I'm planning to write, all revolving around the same main character.
A little background: Pak Hyun-Ae was born in Seoul, South Korea; she was eight years old when the Seven Hours War occurred, and her father died during that war. When she was 10, she was transferred to City 17 & her mother was sent to Nova Prospekt. Hyun-Ae lived with her Grandfather (refferred to as "Granddad" in the story), who was a retired SAS bomb specialist. He taught her all there was to know about bombs, and she eventually began to do secret bomb building & contract work behind the Combine's back. I'm planning to write a short story that covers her background in great detail at some point.
This particular story is set one year before Gordon Freeman's return (and there is one HL2 character cameo!

Rating: (fanfiction.net standards) T for strong language (there is one f-bomb) & violence.
It's still in it's infant stages, so any constructive criticism would be great! It's been awhile since I've written anything, so my style is far from perfect; any tips would be awesome!
