Hi, awhile ago I bought a brand new 9700 Pro and it installed fine and have newest drivers installed and directx and newest drivers for mobo etc. but after Ive had it for about a month it is starting to have little white flickering lines when I scroll up and down and also this wierd corruption on the desktop. Im sure I still have warranty on this card so I could possibly RMA but I wanna make sure its not a easy fix type of issue. Anyway I took some screenshots of the corruption that im getting but wasnt able to catch any of the flickering white lines and here are also my system specs.

300 Watt PSU
Athlon XP 2800+ Barton
A7N8X-X Bios 1009 Newest
512 DDR RAM 2700 (Non-Brand, Elixer or something)
9700 Pro Stock (never overclocked but underclocked a bit for awhile)
52X Cdrom
CD-Burner
40 Gig HD
Floppy Etc...

PS: 3D Graphics seem to work good, its just the desktop thats freaking out

I have never seen anything like this before perhaps someone knows something and you could try contacting someone in the company and asking them.

Mmmhmm yes... yes...

That's a very clear case of Artifacts there, yessery... That's caused when the graphics card heats up too much.. IE when overclocking.. but can happend otherwise too.. if your case ventilation sucks, or if the fan on the card doesn't work or something...

I'd check out the card fan first... then case ventilation... then RMA.

Dude, you should probably delete some of those install files lmao.
Is the corruption your mouse? That has happened to me before on my old comp when I minimized from games... my mouse got messed up.

Yes, probably a heat issue. Make sure the fan on your GPU is alright. That you have a good airflow in your case. A good way to see if it's the heat, underclock your Video Card, should get rid of em.

when i oc my 9800 memory to much, that happens, its a heat/voltage issue on card,
