Ok here's the problem, Everytime i right click over an EXE file, Windows explorer stops responding and restarts. The menu doesn't even appear it just stops responiding as soon as i click. I really really need to sort this as now i can't run anything in Administrator mode or Compatibility mode. I am completely stumped and haven't a clue what to do.

doubt this is going to do it, but well, that's all I have for now

restart your computer

be patient after you right click icons, it can take like 30 seconds sometimes, depending on how bloated your computer is. Don't click anything while you are waiting.

Well i've already restarted my PC serveral times. The 2 things i did before this happened was updating my Graphic card drivers and updating Mass Effect then explorer broke.

Waiting doesn't help. Because i soon as i right click on any exe, Explorer instantly stops working and restarts.

It's alright i figured out my problem. It turns out it was the Mass Effect patch that ****ed up Windows, Restoring before that happened fixed the problem. I am staying well clear of Bioware games from now on.

This reminds me of the time that my explorer kept randomnly crashing. I was stumped and decided to go on a uninstall spree. Eventually I found out that Xvid was causing the problem even though I installed it months ago and never had any problems with it.

Don't you love computers? :P

OH! The Good Old In-game Advertisement?
Reminds me of how the heck Dell XPS managed to get into my FEAR!

Yeah how Hospitals and warehouses require the performance of a Dell XPS, makes alot of sense.
