Can't wait for that game, Deus Ex was a great game with a great story. Everything looks nice, plus I love new hud, gives you that slick look.

Also breaks away a bit from the more traditonaly styles, which is nice. I can see how it would be quite good in the game, and the "iris hud" fits in quite nicely with the whole Deus Ex idea.

The shadows in this engine are great: easily as good as Doom3, if not better in places (I haven't seen Doom3's flickering fire effects yet). The main problem seems to be the characters and models: the NPCs seem to walk around as if they have bowling balls in their armpits. And, of course, the faces don't animate anywhere near as cool as in HL2, though I would bet money that they are scrambling to catch up in the months they have left (Warren Spectator was simply blown away by HL2's characters, to the point that he was a little depressed).

Those movies are terrible quality and don't do the game any justice.
