Video/interviews should be the people's great political tool of our time. Not only can we document what is happening where etc, we can also hold those in power responsible if they massively contradict themselves.

There is only one problem though

NOBODY ****ING USES IT!! and it's utterly ridiculous. We are still stuck in a pre Edison time period where we think we have to take these people literally by the last thing they said.

Yes, Cheney is lying. Anyone who has watched the daily show in the last 2 years knows that. BTW, he is the only one who actually digs up old interviews to show that someone in power is contradicting themselves or just flat out lying...which is ridiculous because he is a comedian. Cheney's replies simply depend on the social situation at the time. All he ever does is try to wiesel his way out of an interview, by saying simply what the public wants to hear at that particular moment...give him the same interview months later and you'll hear a new batch of answers...
