Gauss Rifle (Tau cannon)

Went threw the whole game didnt see either of them. Is that just me?

Those could have been in an earlyer version but could have been taken out

The Assault rifle i think just became the Pulse Rifle in the current game, the gauss rifle was completely scraped though i think

me neither, though i did discover the crossbow in a place i believe was sort of semi secret... in one of the houses on the coast line, instead of in the prison. Come to think of it, they put the crossbow one less obvious place in hl1 aswell and then also much later where you *had* to take it...

Like B_MAN said, the gauss is on the buggy. Maybe the other gun is what the snipers use (with the blue lasers). The way the screenshots are taken hides a lot of detail.

[Edit] That sniper rifle could also be a player made skin for the crossbow.

the first gun hasnt been in the game since....well E3 2003...

the OICW was taken out as the mp7 did the shame job, and the scope is useless as the sniper/crossbow does that job. there was no need for it.

Too bad, the OICW had a beefy sound to it, but the Overwatch rifle is a fine substitute, only don't like the looks of it.
