Its either fake or just come out as Gamespot and IGN have nothing on it (and theyre usually pretty fast).

But its taken so long for this game anyway, i doubt it will do as well on its future release as it would have if they had released it now-ish.

Don't get me wrong, I'm anticipating Spore greatly. But if it takes more time for them to get this game done right, so be it. I'd be angry if it looked as if there was an impending drought of quality gaming between now and Spore's release... but I don't see that as the case.

Honestly, I think they are happily trying to live up to expectations. they have a huge buzz behind this game, they want to live up to the hype. This might take a while, but it should be worth it.


Either that or they don't want the game to come out for the PC, and then a year later on consoles. Console owners will be like 'this shit is old'. Do not want.

they changed the release date to the fiscal year of 2009 which starts in april of 2008 ... which doesnt make it that far off the original release date at all
