Did I screw up it up?

I'm at Leopolds mansion trying to find the guy who can open the Ankaran Sablabla. I've been running around the building for quite some time now and I cant find any secret door or anything that tells me where he is. I think i read something in another post here that a guy is supposed to tell you where he is, inside the mainsion? I'm afraid I've killed everyone. What should I do?

As far as I'm aware there's a door somewhere that takes you into the caverns below the mansion. I believe it's to the right as you come in. It's locked but there's a key in the mansion somewhere.

Damnit. I thought i'd looked through all the barrels. It's alway a simple slution... A tip to people going downstrairs in the mansion - increase the gamma i bit! Thanks for answering btw, mortiz.
