I went through all of the preloads and never got an error message. Today I signed in and got the Unlocking game screen and that ran for quite sometime and no errors. Went to browse games and under HL2 it says download and install, but no matter how many times I push that button nothing happens. CS Source works, any game I did not install when I push Download and Install I get the dowload dialogs. Really wished I had just waited and gone to the store and not done the $89 Gold install.
I think this is really going to put a dent in the "Deliver over the internet" model Valve is pushing. When people pay money in advance for a game they really expect it to work when it is released.
