it's a poll, and i'm feeling very shitty/depressed right now(no i don't really wanna talk about it... stuff that has to do with an ex...) so i figured i'd make a silly poll ... kinda like a couple others i've made in the not so distant past...
so i have been gone for a couple weeks, off to compete in the national bowling tournament at Reno, stayed at a great hotel/resort casino thing called "The Atlantis" ...with a great buffet and stuff... only lost a few bucks playing slot machines, which i won back... didn't feel brave enough for the big bucks at the roulette or craps or black jack tables ... so eh slots for me. after that it was off to northern cali, spent a night in sacramento, another night in eureka(had some EXCELLENT swordfish there... mmmmmmm...) then i spent a couple nights up in redwoods nat'l park and saw a black bear and some deer and camped at the tall trees grove(collection of the tallest trees in the world) ...
...fun stuff ...
so next it was off to san francisco, had dinner at fisherman's wharf, drove around the city and downtown and stuff, t'was neat. the next day i found myself staying at a luxury hotel on the monterey penninsula, called "the inn at spanish bay." went to the monterey bay aquarium that same day, before check-in at the hotel. the following morning, i had to wake up at 6 so my father and i could make our tee-time at pebble beach. wow, awesome golfcourse. $400 dollars for a round of golf, but anyone who plays golf should definitely play there sometime; it's a public course, but you do need to get a hotel reservation on the monterey peninsula to get a tee-time so you're looking at LOTS of money, but eh.
next day i(btw, this is me and my mom and my dad on this trip) drove to yosemite nat'l park where we spent 3 nights in a cabin-tent in the yosemite valley(right below glacier point... for those of you who've been there before). went on some hikes, saw some scenery and stuff blah blah ... heh...
after the yosemite bit, we went off to sequoia and kings canyon nat'l parks for a couple nights. got to see the 2 largest trees in the world, and lots and lots of other sequoia trees, and went into a cave and drove around the parks a bit... and after a couple days driving i'm back at home. blah. and thursday i'm off to holland. w00t.
