Are there any significant differences between the different x800 pro's? Such as VisionTek, PowerColor etc...? Are they just different publishers, or are they actually physically different video cards?

If there is another topic on this, I couldn't find it using search, but if you know of one a link would be great~

Thanks in advance

Same card different packaging. They are different manufactur. Only thing different is how the cards are packed. One can be bundled w/games another can be bundled with a bigger heatsink etc

All the manufacturers make the cards with slight differences. Usually cooling is the only difference. Some overclock their cards a little so they can sell them with faster clock speeds but at the same price as the others. For ATi, Sapphire and MSI are really good, for Nvidia BFG is the best, Evga and PNY are also good. There are probably a lot more good manufacturers, I just listed a few.

The chip will be the exact same.
Some possible differences would be cooling and maybe underclocked memory speeds.

Generally they are the same but I would trust the VisionTek seires more because Xtasy was an awesome Nvidia card maker a year ago.

Check the speed of the GPU and the precise card that you are looking at before you buy. It should at least match the made by ATI spec card. If not then it is "underclocked" and it will run slowly. I got a Powercolor ATI Radeon 9700pro and although the packaging looked really corny and super fun happy taiwan, it is still a great card.
