Difference in videos and screenshots!

I was looking at the tunnels movie and i realized a big difference in some screenshots that i have seen earlier...

On the end of the tunnels movies, when the hydra comes you can see a huge difference on the rocks on the ground!! they changed the apperence...

just i tought...

i don't know if you can see my screenshot, but i uploaded it to my homepage.

That's a screenshot of the Demo that they showed Journalists back in May.

It has the old Alyx model, with different clothes.

They're different versions of the engine...she's wearing different clothes and looks different too because they've updated it. The version of HL2 they release will look better than either the screenshot of the video.

I watched the video over again, you're right, it looks a lot different. I also noticed, however, that after the hyrda pwns the guy, when the tentacles come back up, if you look closely you can see they open on the end, as if they were mouths of some such. :cheers:

btw, I didn't know it was unamerican to not know that black methodists yell "Testify" at church...
