I know what the Sound dkipping problem that everyone else is having is like because my roomate has it, but that is NOT my problem.
My Audio issue is different. I don't have ANY sound when my audio settings are set to 4 or 5.1 speakers. It runs fine when it it set to headphones or 2 speakers. This is true for everything i do in souce. even my menu sound effects don't work.
Yes, I have 5.1 surround sound speakers.
Yes, my audio card supports it.
Yes, it has and still works on my other games.

Like i said I run the game fine when im not trying to play with 5.1
I get an average of 40fps and i have beaten the game without a single error.
Any questions or help. Please give them to me. I have "heard" this game before in 5.1 on my friends computer but it had the audio skipping thing so i couldn't realy hear it.
