I've been keeping an eye on this game for awhile...
It's pretty much a gorgeous RTS with dinosaurs and humans co-existing.

Aaaand, the rather large MP demo was just released.

Finally, a good game with dinosaurs. I can't wait.
 
I really wish there was a proper FPS with dinosaurs in it.

But, we'll have to settle with an RTS for now... Not sure how it is yet, torrenting.

That's the prettiest looking game I've seen in ages. And I'm not making any exceptions for other genres or platforms here. That's goddamn amazing...
 
Alrighty, I'm installing it atm.

I bet it'll run just as well as Company of Heroes did. x.x

But I care not, it has motherf*cking dinosaurs in it! :D

Playing through skirmish, it's damn gorey too... smileodons are vicious bastards D:

The only thing I don't quite like is the iffy voice acting. :/

It runs REALLY nicely on medium settings for me. n.n

again, just another lame fantasy RTS with rediculous units and terrible sense of scale. I've already been jaded by WCIII and Rise of Legends, and I really don't feel like playing another fantasy RTS.

just give me company of heroes and supreme commander and I'll be happy.
 
Anyone remember Dinoriders? That cartoon was badass.
 
This game plays exactly like you'de expect it to. It starts like a generic historical RTS game and then proceeds into a generic fantasy RTS game with massive dinosaurs. There is a rudimentary hero system in place that doesn't really need to be there, also. If while playing Rise of Nations/Legends you thought to yourself "Boy, I wish this had dinosaurs" then you'll probably love Paraworld.

The graphics are a matter of preference, I guess, but the blurring effect is there to hide some very ugly unit models (The dinosaurs and giant mammals tend to look nice, however). The game world itself is fairly ho-hum. Think Age of Empires 3 with the gamma really high and prehistoric critters literally saturating the screen.

All that being said Paraworld is a fun game. A fun game that few people will remember three months after its release.
 
^True. Personally I'm waiting for Supreme Commander. I really can't stand the fantasy genre.

I must be the only one that really isn't -that- excited for it... I mean sure it has beautiful graphics, and interesting gameplay elements... but until I actually play it, I'll hold my judgement.

But then again, I never really liked Total Annihilation either.
 
I just played SP, it sucked big time. Like AoE, but more boring. I didn't get the MP to work, though...
 
The trailer was fairly nice, though not brilliant. Was that thing at the end latin for "Enter, for here are dinosaurs"?
