Don't think the prices are any better than Steam, but this is just the first week and sometimes the Steam Deals come and go too fast!

Neat, thanks for the heads up.

Wrong forum though.

I don't want to have to create another account for another goddamn game service. I must have fifty already.

Wow those are some AMAZING DEALS.

Look at all those OLD AS **** GAMES I can get for STILL TOO MUCH MONEY.

Tell me about it. It would be nice if devs turned their games into freeware once they hit 10 years old. Past that point most people won't even be playing them except to relive nostalgia anyways.(with some exceptions, aka StarCraft)

I have never purchased anything from Direct2Drive but congrats for sticking around for 6 years with excellent competition like Steam.

I bought Riddick there for $5 which included both games and a few others over the years. every once in a while you'll find a gem there that is even cheaper than the steam version when its on sale. but yeah nothing compares to Steam Deals during the Summer and Holidays

here are my games on there

for their summer sale last year, the games were like $5

I'm considering Titan Quest. Can anyone who is a D2 vet and played it recommend it?

Well for starters its a much brighter game, the mechanics are simple but you need a large group to be successful. I think I put about 5 hrs into it before I switched games but thats because Torchwood came out and a few others I was interested in at the time. I got it for about the same price and its fun even if you throw a few hours into it. Also I only played D2 for about month before Titan Quest, D2 is obviously better but its very similar you should have no problem transitioning between games

Dude, that soldier lit the 2 on fire WITH HIS MIND!

Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age are tempting. Their prices on Steam are way too high. Even retail is cheaper.

My friends and I just crashed on that game in co-op a few weeks ago. It's decent, but it never really felt challenging despite the game saying that it scaled for the additional players.

In other words, we ****ed the shit out of it effortlessly. And I sucked at D2.

I bought it anyway. $6 is the price of a sandwich.

Now I'm wrestling with the D2D server that just decided to derp itself, telling me my 1.4 gig download 'completed' at 300 megs. GG server.

well my EA Download Manager sucks even worse. says I'm out of disk space so I had to reinstall the program, then set the download to default on my regular HDD and not my External HDD. download is working fine a very brisk 280kbps download

Jedi Knight II is not worth $6.

It's worth like $30!
