Oh dear, two blunders for Steam today although it would probably be unfair to blame Valve.[br]Firstly, Codemasters and AMD have been conducting a promotion for the game Dirt 3 and left around 3 million game keys on a webserver without any security or protection. The keys have been taken and distributed around the internet however if you get your hands on one expect the game to be removed from your account as they are likely to be black-listed shortly. There is also the possibility of these Steam accounts being disabled so steer well clear to avoid the mess.[br]Meanwhile, developers Techland and publishers Deep Silver between them seem to have accidentally released a developers build of their game Dead Island. The initial release is full of strange bugs including the ability to no-clip and code referring to xbox live. It's all very bizarre. CVG

I get excited for free Dirt 3 and I'm immediately disappointed. Thanks a lot.

Damn Deep Silver. You've got some fixin' to do.

Just so yer know folks, they were get you, at the very least, a temp ban/slap on the wrist. Several steampowered folks complaining about it.

I already got Dirt 3 for free (a steam key, even!) through some AMD promotion a while back.

Probably the same one mentioned in the OP? Except I actually did the promotion properly :p
