disable motd

I did a search and found nothing so I thought I'd make a thread

Is there a way for me to disable the motd being shown when I connect to servers? I only ever connect to a handful of servers so I know the rules on them pretty well and it just slows down my game. It takes long enough for the "retrieving server info" etc to finish loading so I just want to skip the motd and go straight into the screen where you choose a team. Thanks.

and man it only slows u by a few seconds at most lol

so true, but most the servers I play on are very busy, so it's a race to get onto a team. Especially on dust (or is it dust2? I can never remember) when its only 12:14 aside.
