Disappearing Units

I have the latest drivers installed (77.30s- 6800gt), pretty much everything on hig settings (including drawdistance) and run this game without problems anywhere else.
However, especially noticeable when im in a tank or some kind of armour, across open spaces i see an apc or tank, or whatever, then it disappears! I can still hit it if i know where it is, but it's really annoying. It appears when i get closer.
Anyone got any idea?

I have the same problem. It happens even while outsie a tank. I don't know what's causing it or anything, but the target usually appears if I keep moving towards it.

I have seen this happen as well... only once on one server so far.
maybe it's server side?

could be something that happens when the server cant load enough information- glad its probly not my computer then...
