Disc drive won't open

my MSI cd rom won't open for some reason, it was working fine and then poof it decides to darken my afternoon. It only closed halfway, then i gave it some encouragement..............now it won't open.

Please somebody help me, my precious Arcade fire cd is trapped beneath its walls!!

there should be a little hole on the front. Take a paperclip and push the button down inside there and it should pop open.

As for getting it to work again, make sure the power cord is plugged into the CD Drive. Try rebooting your comp as well it might just be bugged.

try right clicking on the drive in my computer and press eject

Did you restart? Sometimes I've had drives lock on me and refuse to do anything until restart.

restarting/ pressing eject hasn't helped, plus my drive doesn't have one of those holes.

open up your case and make sure your connections are tight

yes do what he said above me. also when you computer boots up does the cd drive light blink, because it should be blinking once you start up the computer.

there was this site that when you went there, it asked if u wanted coffee, and then your disk drive opened....off topic, but that could work....haha
