Disconected: Error Vertifying UserID Ticket

I get this error everytime I join an online game server. I have had the same problem before once and when I asked them (some fellas in a CS clan) they told me to reinstal STEAM so I did. It worked.
But now it doesnt work, do you have a solution?

Could it have anything to do with that I havent used Steam for about one and a half month?

I had something similar. I just did a virus scan and it worked. Must have been something affecting my net connection. Or something. Whatever.

Maybe you should buy the full game and not warez it! :O
How long before I get banned for accusing everyone of warez in this forum?

Not sure how you figure he has a warez copy. Because he says he hadn't used STEAM for a month? I think he means he didn't play any STEAM games for a month.

I did buy the game. And I havent used steam for a month either, or played any games with it. I always have it shut down so it wont slow my computer down.

i used to get that alot... I would just have to quite the game, exit steam, re-login with my username and what not then it would be all good. Lets see if the steam support page has anything for this... one sec.... *tick tock*

ok- the steam support page says this:

1. Servers might just be down
2. usually occures from not restarting after an update ( makes sence if he hasnt used steam in more then a month *update there are many of, you did not have*i tried the yoada thing...*
3. if all else fails delete the following files:

* Steam.dll
* SteamUI.dll
* ClientRegistry.Blob

ClientRegistry.blob usually fixes a lot of stuff for me if i just delete that one. that one after deleted and stating up steam will make it update. restart and tryagain.

Yeah just restart steam. The UserID ticket is a ticket to prevent people using one account on multiple computers at the same time. If you log into steam on one computer, then you have a fresh Userticket, if you then log into steam on another computer, the ticket goes to the 2nd computer. A server validates if you still have a ticket.

Don't worry that someone else is using your account though. I've had it alot too. If you want to be safe, just change your password.

* ClientRegistry.Blob

ClientRegistry.blob usually fixes a lot of stuff for me if i just delete that one. that one after deleted and stating up steam will make it update. restart and tryagain.
That did the trick, thx alot for the help guys.
