Now I'm not a US citizen but I did some research . The Jeffersons manual gives people the power to impeach any US official including the president by giving them the right to bypass congress in cases of apparent corruption. Kindof like a fail safe built into the constitution.

And don't get me wrong, I fully agree that he wont get impeached because the democrats don't have the 2/3 vote they would need. But that's not the point, the point is people like you don't seem to take in interest into why he should be impeached. If you did maybe we'd have that 2/3 majority by now.

Well, a president can only be impeached for "high crimes and misdemeanors". If we can prove (or better yet if congress can prove) that Bush has broken the law of the constitution in any way, then impeachment might proceed. But I just don't see this happening.

But I do agree that Bush has much more going for him impeachment-wise than Andrew Johnson, Richard Nixon and definatley Bill Clinton had against them.

Your immigration policies concern me because they discriminate against people who actually deserve to get a green card and who have a lot of skill and talent to offer and who can actually speak English.
It is next to impossible even to get a short-stay work visa in America as a Brit, despite supposedly being your "closest allies" and having a strong similarity in culture and economic wellbeing. Yet it seems all you have to do is walk across the border from Mexico, break the law and piss all over American culture and you get rewarded with citizenship.
I would potentially like to move to the States some day. Where's the justice here?

I don't know how many people know their is a way to bypass congress, which is why I thought I should link the info. I think the majority of Americans would do it if they knew how, and no offense to any US citizens but there definately seems to be alot of people over there who don't really understand their own constitution very well.

I think the US consitution is fantastic, it's rational and gives equality rights to the individual, the founders obviously were great people, they understood that it would protect every person from tyrants or corporatate interests, incase they tried to seize control of the country, it explicitly states that the federal reserve is an illegal entity, and yet it is being destroyed.

The mexicans that are coming over here to do shitty work has nothing to do with our overall immigration policies. Do you have any statistics to back up anything you are saying? No where in the last decade or so have we decreased the amount of visas we give out becuase of what is happening at our border.

But hey lets use your logic from the other threads. I came to this country from Poland legally with a visa while mexicans were still crossing the border daily by the thousands. According to your logic this really had nothing to do with luck on my part, it had to do with hard work and dedication. So why aren't you over here yet? Not working hard enough?
