Wicked stuff man, I've been following your progress, and it looks amazing...releasing it? does this mean your not entering it into the map contest? I was reading the rules and such for that, the hardcopy on a cd/dvd or w/e would make lots of overseas entries a little difficult. If you release it please let us know where and when, I'm not a big DM fan, but I'm looking forward to lots of the custom maps, especially this one. :thumbs: :borg: :thumbs:
 
It looks great. Kind of like my idea, except mine takes place in an abandonned trainyard. I ike th new name, too. :)
 
Can't wait. Dockside was probably the HL2 map I've played most. I love it and I hope you continue to make more maps in the future.

Perhaps you could put a prefix on your map names so that your fans can find them easier? Just a suggestion. Anyway, great work!
 
The rules state that map entries must not have been distributed prior to the 1st of December. Mine hasn't. I'm doing the final compile tonight, then test running it (privately!) for a few days to see if anything crops up. In the meantime, I'm starting another map.

A prefix? Hmm....that's a bit vain.

Are you adding a better skybox like it said in the readme?

I did. It's better as in "doesn't look like ass any more", rather than "full of really unnecessary objects"
