Do bots mean that servers can always be active?

I.E. A server could run bots until a human wished to take the place of one of the bots? That'd be quite neat as it is always fun to roam the map with a partner, which you don't get on empty servers.

It would be quite funny if they implemented an "eliza" type response to chat! You'd get a number of people chatting blithely to bots on internet servers!

yea id want to see bots replying rudely to comments such as: nice shot, lucky bastard, ffs cheater! and so on, maybe even laugh at us when were doing badly..

*glo: "wtf? ns lucky bastard"

*Bob: "How appropriate, and you fight like a cow."

It would be very easy for a coder to make something like that with passable AI. I wrote an mIRC script once that fooled people into thinking it was a teenager. So CS:S players will be even easier to mimic ;)

yeah I remeber that the PODbot in cs1.5 did this.:D
they responded differently to "bot","cheater","camper" and a few more I can't remember.
