In my BIOS it gives me the option of chaning the Frame Buffer
It says "Amount of RAM for the internal graphics device"
It says "a larger frame buffer should provide higher performance"
The options are:
512K
1MB
8MB
When set to 512MB windows fails to start
It works with 1MB
I don't notice any differnce when i set it to 8MB
My questions are:
it says this is for internal graphics, and I'm using a Video Card, why is this even necessary, and why wont windows start with it at 512K, is it for like basic operations
Should I set it to 8MB? (I have 1024MB RAM)
What kind of benefit do I get from a higher frame buffer
Thanks
