yahoo DSL is 19.99 dollars ....about 250k

well its not a requirement quite yet...but it wouldn't hurt either
if u can afford it, get it cause u don't regret it afterwards.

yeah Skater, I'm in Australia. DSL is still abit expensive over here.

DSL aint everywhere.
I play without broadband and do really good.
Don't let anyone tell you that you need broadband!
Obviously it woudl help but it will runs moothly on a 56k. Trust me. Also don't go for AOL. I have a local isp, AoL gives half the speed.

Well i have 56k and had given up on the idea of playing competetively online.. i don't have CS:S yet, but are you suggesting I could play with the 56k?

I think CS:S in 56k is unplayable. But that's just me.

Yes you need broadband. You think xbox comes with broadband only for a reason. Playing with 56k sucks unless your on a 4 man server and a 4 man aztec server would suck.
