What the hell happened to Black Mesa Source. I wanted to play the source version of hl1 before hl2 but since i thought hl1 source was the game in the source engine completely. Since it was not I wasn;t going to wait years to just play hl2. Still I want to play hl1 with source graphics.

It's still going strong, but the ETA has ALWAYS been 2008 or later. No-one is paying those enthusiasts to make you a free game.

ETA for Black Mesa has always been "when it's done". An optimistic prognosis would put release at the end of this year. Realistically, though, it's probably going to be released in a year and a half from now or so, not earlier.
