so my case has a shitload of LED fans on it, and i got to wondering yesterday if the lights on these babys ever burn out. I asked around and recieved mixed answers, so i was hoping someone could clear this up for me.

They do but it takes a long long long time for them to even start to get dim

We'll probably all have super-computers impanted in a microchip on our brains by the time they die out...

/sarcasm

But yeah... they last ages.

At my firehouse one of our trucks have all LED lights on it and they have been as bright as ever for over 2 years have not dimmed a bit just look at the pictures

They die, but it takes a long time, but they dont go dim like Blackghost says. They will just stop working when they die

LEDs last and hold their light unless you break em. Coldcathod lights are the ones that dim and don't last as long.

I read somewhere that there are different kinds of LED lights, and certain colors die faster. I think it was in reference to that one Optimus keyboard.
