People being able to glitch under the ground around the tower on CP C of Gravelpit...

Probably, once they're not so busy with updating all the other source games to the 2007 engine.

Ya, seems like almost every other time (well, probably not THAT often, but still...) I play on Gravelpit, someone glitches into the ground and sets up a sentry gun.

gj op sharing this with other people. now lots of people will do it....also can that sentry even shoot above??

Making it more likely that it will get fixed sooner. And yes, the sentry gun can target anyone as easily as it could above ground.

I HATE this glitch, I can't believe they still haven't fixed it.

in your team fortress 2 game on the main menu you will see it

Just noticed that. :)

I didn't see an option to attach screenshots, only to take one screenshot, I guess I'd have to upload them to my photobucket account and paste the links in the message...

Wow, that's true abuse. :/

I also hope they fix the 'corpse falls through floor' bug. it's really quite annoying.

i use to get that on 2fort alot but i never had it happen again. it seems random.

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!

Valve released an update that fixes this 'getting under the terrain' bug. Hopefully that will stop sentries from being built underneath too.

I have to try this...

If you do, you're a douchebag. It effectively forces the attacking team to sit in their spawn for the entire round because there's no possible way to cap the last point. It ruins the entire game.

I'm praying that's the case.

uh yea there is.....there are spies you know. the opposing team can play all spies hehe. that would be an interesting game.

You still have to uncloak to actually cap a point. A well placed under-map sentry can still reach you up there on C.

My entire team had to resort to spies because of that glitch.

Everyone who does it should be banned, its totally disregarding the other players. Half the time its the blues that do it, so you cant leave your spawn unless you go spy.

I hate to say it, but once all the major bugs and exploits are sorted out I really think Valve should do a wholesale stats wipe so that people aren't trading off them.

Didn't fix it on Gravelpit, unfortunately.

Just had it happen in two different servers in an hour long period of playing before I got fed up and quit completely.

No. That's ridiculous. A lot of legit players with legit stats would be completely upset.

Also, VALVe is partially to blame for allowing the glitch to exist this long, and not fixing it on the first attempt last night.

I found it stupid they fixed the jump/taunt glitch (which I found more humorous and good than an exploit that should be fixed immediately), but didn't fix the gravelpit exploit.

It seems they released another patch today to do with terrain. I hope it's fixed it now..

I have tried it many times after seeing it on youtube, and it doesn't seem to work. I almost pop into the ground then pop back out. Seriously..

Never had that before....HOW

Valve needs to implement an enemies list, so we can personally put the cheaters and lamers into it that either will warn you when they/you join the same server or automatically mute them, or something to that effect.

That'd be illegal.

LOL, you make it sound like they're sexual predators. I don't think glitchers are nearly as bad as true hackers and cheaters. After all, it's as much Valve's fault for not catching it in playtesting or patching it fast enough after the game was released.

The best, most responsible thing to do is just send a bug report to Valve whenever you find a glitch so they can fix it in the speediest manner possible.

They paid for the games, they have the rights and privacy to play it without being spotlight'd.

Doesn't matter if they're being asses or whatever, pretty sure that's how these laws work.

Im sure they will fix it asap, just look how fast they are releasing updates.
