tried to find, but couldn't. some places sell geforce 4 ti for like $2343.99, which is insane. Do they even sell those card anymore or do i have to find a friend or something?
Really? i didn't know that. when i went to get my comp, i didn't know too much, so i was going to get a low range FX model. he told me that they were crap, and to get a geforce4 ti series. are they really that good? i mean, it runs hl2 pretty well, for a 2 year old card

The ti's were amazing

GeForce4 Ti cards were great in their day, but now I'm afraid they're simply outmoded, unless you want a real shoestring budget card off EBay, and I don't think you want to trust second-hand hardware.

the gf3 is about the equivalent of a fx5200 with 128bit memory bus, should score about 1500 in 3dmark03, and the gf4 is about the equivalent of a 9600 non-pro. i think.
