Dirty Harry coming to video games!

One of my fave all time screen characters is finally making it to video games ..best of all Clint eastwood will be doing the voice and is involved in the creative process ..doesnt guarantee a quality game but it's a good start

so what do you all think? is the video game industry out of ideas? are they following hollywood and looking outside of the genre to find content? or are we just seeing a "hollywood-ization" where studios are churning out games based on known licences because of the guarenteed audience?


still, if they manage to make Dirty Harry anywhere near as good as Max Payne, I'll be coughing up the $

Max Paine was a pretty good game back in a few years,but there is no wa y Dirty Harrycan beat good ol HL2.

ever since video games were invented there has been tons of attempts to make games based from movies, and 95% of the games were average at best.

It automaticaly will sell decent becuase of the movie fans and name recognition. This is why the games don't have to be very good to sell

The developers know this, they just want the money. Many companies even seem to create or purchase a new software branch just to hide thier identity and protect thier reputation.

somehow I don't think the game will be good enough for its own fan sites :|
