The topic title says it all. I have no internet connection to my gaming PC, and I was pretty sure there was singleplayer capability (like 1942 and vietnam). However, I went into gamestation and they said that it requires an internet connection to activate, is this true?

You might have to use connection to register and account, but that should be it, I dunno . I'm always online, so I don't know :p

The single-player is not worth it in any case.
True.

But no, you don't need to be online to play SP. They just made it ungodly difficult to start up single player, cause it keeps trying to get you to register an online account..

Dont you have to login to play single player? IM prettey sure you do. if this were the case you would have to have a connection.

Actually I'm pretty sure you can select to login as "offline". Plus, at no time in the installation do I recall ever having to go online... so I'm pretty sure you can play it without a connection. The thing is, like people have said, you wont want to; the singleplayer is extremely shallow.

Yeah when I d/led it to test it out, I was offline, and like I said, it was just a hassle to get it to recognize an OFFLINE account. So no, you don't need to be online.

I wouldn't. BF1 was worth getteing just for the SP, but this isn't.

nah, single player blows for this. Multiplayer only shines with teh people you play. You can play a random pub and be bored within minutes *like me* Great to joke/have lots of fun with some friends. Hell ask Monkey about my driving on Kubra Dam :)

SP truly sucks, I think they made it on purpose, cause you hardly have any options, you think you'dd have as many as when your making a cunstom server but no, + you don't have all maps in sp, like mashtur city.

Strange I thought the singleplayer demo was intense. However can you have 32 or 64 players in singleplayer, or would my CPU just simply rupture :E

Your cpu would do fine- it's your video card id be worried about on those larger maps...
