It's a great little program, and makes organizing a game between people much easier. You can get it at www.xfire.com

I'd say it's kind of like Steam's friends list, but it supports pretty much any online game that's come out in the last few years.

I won't be coming to these forums anymore until HL2 actually releases, but I'll have XFire on pretty much everyday so add me to your list (Soundwave239) and we can get some games of whatever going.

Old!!!!111111 :sniper: Than
Thanks for the info anyway .

i heard about this, i wasnt sure whether to get it tho. might try it if its reccomended ;)

Yeah, there's been a thread about this awhile ago. Most of the HL2.netters had it, but almost no-one uses it anymore.

I used to use it but then I realized how unused it was and became one of those who didnt use it. w00t!

Anyone els want to share any of their usernames? its a really cool messanger but i need more freinds

All-Seeing Eye is quite popular nowadays..with Gamespys ads.

Personally, I still use xfire. I find it to be an excellent program.

I'm perfectly happy with Steam Friends and Servers. No ads, all nicely condensed, simple to use.

agreed, that and its tied directly into your gaming.
in other words I can add anyone I play a game with (and vice versa), and I dont have to write down their details or e-mail or whatever, I simply click on their name, and then add.

plus thats the best way to get people on any friends list.
often times you find someone on xfire (or whatever) and his name pretty much sits there since you met him in an excellent game of HL, while he is mostly into CS.. or whatever.

at least thats my experience with it.. if I dont play with someone often enough/dont really keep in contact with people, I simply clear my friends list every now and then.
its better than having 80+ user names and only really keeping in contact with /playing games often with 10 or so people (my steam account had about that many when I started)
