Do you? Would you lie, cheat, and steal to someone to fulfill your personal desires? Do you regard life as a game, something to compete with others, to improve yourself and to improve your tactics, strategy, and brutality?

I myself am afraid of what I would become... and am partly afraid of my own personal goals. I'm trying to decide if I should continue playing fair, or write my own rules and break everyone elses.

Discuss.

Depends what I'm playing with... football? wang?

Depends on the game.

Drinking will normally drive me to keep going.

I'm somewhat competitive in games (I feel a little upset when I come in last) but I don't treat life like a competitive game. Like I heard sophomore university classes were supposed to get pretty cutthroat, but I always ended up helping people with homework and studying before tests, and personally I thought my class wasn't that competitive in a mean kind of way.

I'm also not very ambitious... at least in the "I make more money than you because I work for a company with a crapload of money" sense. This really sucks because I think my mom and sister are. I'd rather be working on something that helps protect with the environment (which is what I'm interested in) and makes not-so-much (government or university job? consulting firm?) than go out making a lot of money to spit out consumer products and spend my time shaving fractions of a cent off a mass-production line for some big corporation. But then my mom just tells me to go work for a plant and garden place and drop out of college. Great motivation.

Play to win, **** everybody else, unless you care about them in any way.

I play for fun. No point being an asshole about it, Just enjoy yourself. Too much cheating and shite like that comes from this insesent need to win yet they won't really have accomplished anything.

I live by the philosiphy of We're not here for a long time, We're here for a good time.

EDIT: Is the swearing filter off or just off for your own posts?

The derogative term of intercourse is one of the few words filtered.

I don't play. I let life drag me along. I have yet to apply any effort, always taking the easiest course, and oddly so far its done wonders.

But where do you cross the line between legit and "cheap".

If I'm losing, then I do cheat, lie, what ever needs to be done to win. There is no such thing as karma.

Or if I'm in a good mood, I'll play fair..

I DO Watch it, every time it's on!

I don't think I could. Not unless the reasons where legitimate.

I compete as fairly as I can. But I will exploit the holes, bugs, glitches to any extreme until they're fixed, changed, or plugged.

I play for fun. Why bother winning the rat race if you still remain a rat?

That didn't really make any sense...

A part of me believes that if I do try and be the best at what I am and what I do, I'll meet someone else who is also trying to be the best, and maybe that competition is more thrilling and fun than anything I've ever done in my life before.

The other part of me beleives no one does this, and everyone is just as normal as the next guy.

I always play to win, but never cheat or walk over others. It doesn't matter who, it doesn't matter where or why or in what circumstance.
Most of the time I don't have to try for an unfair advantage anyways. A lot of people are stupid and unskilled compared to me.

It would bring much scandalous shame upon me to be one-upped by a 16 year old.

Though, I do believe age is merely a number and not connotative of a man's worth or ability to handle himself. ;)

That said, how about a friendly game of chess? :D

That is why I followed up with the green mushroom. I knew you knew what it meant. Who doesn't?
Probably a foreigner.
I do not think you are one of those, though.

Nope, complete American. Which can be a bad thing.
Do you know how being an American is like eating a buritto?

If you are too busy trying to win, you forget to enjoy the experience.

I think that's an excuse for actually putting effort into something. Do you really consider laying around the house all day an experience to enjoy? Paying the bills and watching TV, whacking off to fetish porn that to you seems dull? It's like... it's like... I don't know there an article around here...

i play to lose.

ok, not actually. I play to win, but won't resort to cheating in order to do so. If you cheat and are ok with that, fine. Me? well, i would always know I didn't really win it, and that's not as satisfying.

I'm fairly competitive. I'm not above "encouraging" my teammates to play better. The only time i generally do that is when it's obvious to everyone I'm playing better than them, like for instance, we're playing football and I scored both goals, and we're losing 3-2. I think that I have a right to yell at my teammates for not covering on defense, because I'm doing everything I can at the front.

I honestly don't think I have a single competetive gene in my body. So to answer the question of the title; no.

However, that doesn't mean that I don't constantly work to improve myself and smash my former limits to pieces. I do.

The mix of the two may be unusual, but it works out gret for me. :)

Nah, that just makes you an asshole. In my experience there's never a good time to yell at teammates. Talking yes, yelling no.

Depends how much I want the end result. Generally, I'm a fair player, but I'll take some liberal interpretations of some rules (if I can argue it) if I REALLY need to win.
