Last election (electing a governor for the state of Arizona), I was the only person who voted in my sociology class. Will you vote in the upcoming presidental election? (You Brits are excluded from this poll :p)

I'm too young to vote, which sucks cause tomorrow Canada elects or re-elects a new prime minister and id like to be in on it.

Yes, and I'm voting for Bush. I'm a registered Republican anyway.

I thought you were in canada brink's.

Anyway, I'm underage.

well im not American...but i do vote :)
infact June 28th here in Canada we are voting :E
as they say.. if u can vote, but decide not to... ur complaining later on is stupid and pointless.

so go out and make ur vote count :p

I live on the border so I am a Canadian and American citizen.

Everyone knows that Bush is going to win there's no denying it. Kerry is no contest.

Haha, Kerry isn't gonna win.

I doubt you are old enough to vote.

Why do people say things like this? :dozey:

Anyway. I do plan on voting.

Hmmm...this is looking a little one sided.

Besides my original question, do you guys vote in local elections? (for governors, congresman and local legislation)

Well, you're wrong I am old enough to vote. Don't think I'm so crazy when Bush wins.

You did say, "Will you vote in the upcoming presidental election?"

I plan on voting. I just wish that for this one election we could let everyone else in the world vote as well. I'll bet it would be a landslide victory in favor of Kerry. Seems hardly anyone on the international front wants to see Bush around for another term, which tells me something about him right there.

Do you americans realize the War in Iraq has cost you over $170 Billion already. And each month it costs $4 Billion for just the troops alone. Now think where that money is coming from, yeah thats right, outta your pocket.

Heh, when I 1st saw this thread I thought it was asking "Do you vote in online polls?"
Anyway, me is under age 18, so my opinion is worthless.

Dulrough looks up at NJD2003 with his brainwashed ignorant redneck eyes and says "But Bush is cutting taxes, so it can't come out of our pockets!!!"

Sure he'll "win" but he won't really win if ya get me.

yeah i vote in local elections :)
don't get me wrong tho.. im not one of those pple that break down every analysis of the leaders' ideas and such.. i do however try to keep a general understanding of what they all believe in.

If I could, I would vote for Kerry. Based on what Bush has done in the last 4 years, I have this nagging feeling that he's gonna send the planet to a pre-mature death if he's elected again. The Bush Administration's views on the environment, as well as their foreign policy, don't really inspire hope.

Bush "Well, I just back from the Coyote Conference."

Robin Williams: "No no, that's Kyoto."

Bush: "Oh, that's a nice car."

Robin Williams: "No, no -- *sigh* just walk away George, walk away!"

Let''s face it -- he lost the first time around; I wonder how many people are still going to support him this time?

Yeah, I'll be votin'. :)

Smaller local ones involving people I have no idea who the Hell they are I skip, but bigger ones I go to... well, try... :p

And Pressure's right, by the way. ;)

I'm not American, but I vote.

Actually, it's illegal to not vote in Australia. And I think I like our system better. Seems to me that you get a better indication of the opinion of the electorate.

Rather than having the country run on a mandate from the 40% that did vote.

Since most people on his site is non-american, maybe you should have had a third alterinitive saying "I do not live in the US"

I don't vote currently, but that's because I forgot to register. There's not much point voting where I live at the moment though, the politicians elected can't even do anything because the Assembly's suspended. :dozey:

i vote, but only to keep other people out of power. not really democracy is it when you have to do that..

Why? Just don't vote if you don't live in the US. You can still always post your opinions in the thread if you want to give your own input.

Underaged. And in Portugal only 1 million ppl vote....

And let me tell you guys a little secret - If you vote for Bush, terrorism will increase. Simply because the Arabs hate Bush my friends.

Am i the only one who sees something of a sense of irony(Perhaps not the correct word but still, you know what i mean) in gathering results on whether people vote by using a poll....In which you vote?

Anyway...Although i wont say that if you don't you don't have the right to complain. Its only when you are too lazy(Which sadly most people are) to vote or you consider is uncool or something that you can't complain, if you choose not to as some sort of protest then maybe you can say something.

I vote, in fact i just voted in the European and local elections...sadly there wasn't really a part i wanted to choose. They all have their "Vision" for where they want to take Britain and i really couldn't care less for that...All i want is for them to make the country as best as possible.

Do the entire world a favor and don't vote Bush.

I was supposed to vote in the European Union election a while ago, but then I got hit by depression and didn't feel like doing anything. The candidates seemed identical, anyway...

I'm going to miss being 18 for election day for a few months... but its worse for my girlfriend. Her birthday is less than a week after election day. Heh."

Well, I'm with Nader, all the way. I'm so sick of Democrats and Republicans. They are the same in all respects except for the color of their ties. ;)

With Nader huh? Don't you mean with Bush then? Because really, voting for Nader is just going to take votes away from the democrats thus giving Bush a further edge. Happened in 2000 and will happen again.

Now, don't get me wrong. I like the idea of a third party, but reaslistically at this time it just doesn't work.

Give me a break. Next you democrats will be saying that voting for Bush is taking votes away from Kerry. I think it is a good thing that people are starting to realistically look at independents. Both major parties (Democrats and Republicans) could really use a kick in the pants so they can see the real world.

PS - Nader isn't with the Green party this election. They nominated some other guy.

[Edit]: The Green Party nominated David Cobb.

Too young, but would vote for Bush, I consider him the better of the 2(This is an opinion so don't rape me). I don't even really know where Kerry stands on half of the issues.
