Studies have shown that, at this point (it was different with much smaller populations and with less immigration), anything cousin or beyond is "safe" (unless you're in the abnormal situation of a family that has been incestual for a long time... or prone to genetic disorders).

Yes, at least in California...but it mostly happens the other way around...Guy and girl marry...their single parnets meet...and get married...still weird though...your father would be your father/father-in-law

In my culture cousins marrying is common (and some times it's encouraged or even enforced by parents). cousins are not like siblings.

oh and on the topic, I don't like sibilngs marrige :/ but I don't really have an opinion on whetherit should be allowed or not. I think it's not right but it could be just a cultural thing.
