This is a slight update to the program that aired on British Channel 4 called "Dispatches Undercover Mosque", and you'll be amazed to hear the reason for the police to apparently overstep their legal boundaries.

That media lawyer is right, how is it any of the police's business? I don't see them going after the Sun for falsification. Anyway, fake or not - it doesn't matter because if this imam's portrait were faked, there are out hundreds of thousands more who will say even more stupid shit.

And that's the underlying problem with this: There was nothing "fake" or "out of context". The British police are simply shilling.

I guess they don't want to be bombed again? Heh. no offence, but thats just being a pussy. :p

I somehow suspect this footage was investigated only because it might have casted a positive light on muslim subculture...if you condemn Bin Laden, the enemy stereotype is destroyed and something like sympathy might develop, which be suspended for the sake of war on terrorism.

You got it backwards - They're persecuting (the makers of the documentary) because it shows Imams advocating killing Jews with your bare hands, saying women are inherently stupid no matter what, and that Indian businesses should be bombed, and that British Muslims should reject British laws unless they're compatible with Shari'a -- And all of this in Britain's biggest "mainstream" Mosque. In essence, they're trying to silence them.

Exactly. ^ Combat Islamic radicalism where you find it. Do not. Surrender. This. Is. Cake. Town.

Meh, must have missed a bit, I never noticed that part. Well, anyway, I reckon you must be right, if you point it out so precise. But anyway they should air it, to help the islamophobes further develop their dislike for the Qu'ran.

"Islamophobes" a very inert word today, but anyway, I'd sure hope that disgust with the Quran isn't limited to "Islamophobes".

^ Exactly. I guess people just aren't prepared to accept when another religion is ... well extreme.
