DoD Now or Later

Would you prefer a rougher version of DoD that we can play soon, or a fully polished version not out for a few more months?

Personally I prefer the chance to play it early, to me that's what mods (even retail ones) are all about, watching them progress, growing as a player as the game grows with you is kinda fun. I am looking forward to whatever they give us!

I would not mind some bugs with a promise if future updates, after isn't that what we've always done?

I don't mind either way, however, like hl2; if it takes them more time to produce something of high quality, then they've got all the time they want.

I was under the impression that Day of Defeat will not be a free mod so i disagree with an early version. If they are going to make me part with my cash it better be polished with very few bugs. After all when i bought HL2 on-line it was advertising Days of Defeat as an addition. Having said that i am busting to get my hands on any sort of version to see how it has been converted but judging by Counter-strike its in capable hands.
