DOD source sound problem

This was asked a week or 2 ago, but since it wasn't answered here goes.

I have Audigy 2 Gamer ZS and in the distance machinegun fire kind of "Crackles" anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Have you updated your card with new drivers?
Also tried alternative drivers? (I've had this with my card too, an update fixed it)

New drivers- yes. Alternative drivers- no. Where can I get them?

You can try the Omega drivers for ATi. For nVidia, I dunno, google it.

Well I found a solution, I just downloaded a sound pack.
