can you just have the HALF-LIFE 2 BRONZE and be able to downlode DOD source or do you need HALF-LIFE 2 SILVER to be able to get DOD source cuz i rely rely want it and i dont want to bye it then not be able to lay dod couls some one plz tell me thz.

As advertised, you would need to have purchased Half-Life 2: Silver to be able to receive DOD: Source.

You will be able to buy it standalone in the shop as it will be published by Activision.

No, you have to buy that from www.steampowered.com or the Steam client.

I'd be surprised if they do not let you just download the DoD standalone over steam for a price. It would be kinda silly if they didn't. However, I'm pretty sure that the price of the Bronze pack plus DoD standalone will be more than the Silver pack.
