DoD Thread

With the DoD release weeks away (i hope) and beta in full swing, will there be a Forum dedicated to DoD? I know that not every mod can have a forum, but DoD is an extremely popular retail mod and I think it deserves its own special place in the halflife2.net forums.

It's covered under Source Ports at the moment, however I'm sure that will get filled with lots of stuff to do with DOD which is when it'll get moved.

Nothing planned yet but if it's needed it'll get done/

I dont know if we really need one ..the Day of Defeat forums barely had any traffic for months up until a few days ago

Well Cpt, thats because unless you fired up your oldschool HL1 DoD (and you need to install HL1 to play) you didnt have much to talk about. There was hardly any new info until..... hey now! a day or two ago! I'm just thinking ahead and saying that it deserves as much of a thread as CS, and definatly asa much of a thread as Half Life 2. And i think the admins will agree, especially if the source port thread is nuked with DoD related stuff.

The other Source games themselves didn't really have many posts, which is why it all got moved into one single section, that and to make the forum smaller so less scrolling.

I removed the Day of Defeat: Source forum because it was dead. If the discussion picks up more I'll add it again.
