I have had problems with .wad files on dod_fugplatz and dod_chemille and have heard of a few others. Post your problems here and we can all try and figure them out together.

I can't update because the friggin game is never avaliable.

I've updated, and i can get into a game fine, but when i go to choose a team, i get a fatal error. the report says it's in the vgui2.dll file, so i tried deleting the file, steam downloaded or created a new one, but it still errors. i tried getting one from a friend who has his working, still errors. I can't even post this on the official steam or dod boards because of some messed up registration crap (says i'm waiting to be administrated, its been months since i registered). Anyway, anyone got a solution, or if you could be so kind, could you copy this and post it into the dod help forum in steam or the official site? I'm at my wits end here...

it just plain looks UGLY...
dod 2.0 looked so much better... i thought it was running in software mode ffs...
