Does anyone else have a bug where your POV glitches out?

Basically, suddenly my POV gets much lower than it normally is. Normally, it's at the head, and when I'm looking at my allies/enemies, my POV is at their head level. Well this bug suddenly changes my POV much lower, almost to a crouching level. I REALLY notice it when I run near my teammate and they're standing much taller than me (no, hasn't always been like this because sometimes they are my height, sometimes they aren't) and the ground seems REALLY CLOSE when you're crouched.

This bug is driving me crazy and frankly, making CSS quite frustrating to play.

Yeah I've been getting that recently too. I run around at crotch level.

yep i get it just hit crouch when you are running for a sec

Yeah, I've been getting that since the 4th or 5th update. Just tap your croutch buton and it will go back to normal......found it annoying at first but now I hardly notice it.

Yeah, every1 gets it, and it looks shameful cos to other ppl ur knees and all below are inside the ground, it looks odd to other ppl ;( :angry:

I only get that when I play one certain server. What server was it?

Not an USA server for sure. Dunno it was some finnish server, I think it is not related to the servers.

I get it usually only during spectator mode or the beginning of a match. But when it happens during actual game session it's quite strange. I feel like I'm in an episode of NYPD Blue.

I've seen it happen once. Its odd in some ways because this same thing is a bug in deathmatch. So if it can happen in these two source games, maybe it can happen in all the other mods to come.

it hasn't happened to me, but it always seems to happen to my friend when i'm spectating him. A lot of the time his FOV is on an angle, like he's leaning or whatever. Most of the time he says his screen looks fine, but for some reason it's only when I spectate him. So maybe hardware plays a role...

yes this happens to me every now and then...what is really annoying is that you shots doesn't seem to register at all(or are really far off)

Yeah, it happens to me sometimes, but only at the start of the round.

And this leaning effect (like if drugged after TKing; admin mod option) while spectating also happens sometimes.

I made a thread about this awhile back. It was happening alot to me but when I got a new comp and reinstalled it wasn't as big of a deal. Still annoying though.

Had this. It's very annoying if you're guarding a bomb and then you suddenly get a lower POV. I usually jump to fix it, but then my enemy will hear it....crouching from now on

Happens to me too, only rarely though. Sometimes in leans in on an angle, so my point of view looks diaganol. Pretty kool, makes me feel like im taking em' out gangsta style.

I get that too just jump+duck and you will be back to normal

It will happen to you if you die crouched. Just tap your crouch button and he will be normal again.
