Tinneth said:I did have it, but quit because it got so repetitive and boring. The only way to level up was with a group of about 4/5/6. You would go from levelling in one area and reaching a certain level...allowing you to go level in another area but with different enemies. There were quests as well...but they werent really..involving. Sometimes you would be waiting for about 2 hours for a group..and you eventually find one...and you would find that you didnt have a White Mage (people that heal) so I quit.
Yes it does have day and night. Certain enemies come out at night and day etc. The only way to get really good items is to either craft loads and buy/make stuff or camp special monsters..which are camped by about 10 people all the time. And even then theres a rare chance the monster you have to kill drops the special item.
There are summons for people that take up the Summoner job. But they are only just a bit bigger than your character...not massive like...say...Leviathan in Final Fantasy VII. Its massive in that but about the same size as your character in this. Theres summons like Ifrit, Leviathan and Shiva as well as about 4 or 5 others.
All in all, I am a great fan of the Final Fantasy series although the latest ones like X-2 are a bit...crap. Final Fantasy XI is great for about..the first 25 levels but then it just gets ridiculous. Thats why I quit. I started to enjoy Tetra master more as it went on. Anyways, feel free to try it if you want. But thats just my opinion of the game.
